Las VII Jornadas de Escuelas Oficiales de Idiomas de Canarias se celebrarán en la EOI de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria durante los días 8 y 9 de noviembre de 2013, evento organizado por esta Asociación y que cuenta con la homologación de la Dirección General de Ordenación, Innovación y Promoción Educativa.
Una vez configurado el programa definitivo, lo publicaremos en este blog y en correo a todas las EOI de canarias; no obstante, nos es grato comunicarte que el Sr. Lonny Gold ha aceptado nuestra invitación y confirmado su asistencia a estas jornadas, uno de los mejores especialistas en Sugestopedia y en Accelerated Learning; el trabajo del Sr. Gold es reconocido en todo el mundo, impartiendo talleres y conferencias durante este año en China, Estados Unidos, Canadá, y diversos países europeos.

Suggestopedia – The Art of Making Every Minute Unforgettable
This workshop will be a real delight to “hands on” people who think ideas are fine but really want to see them in action. The entire philosophy of Suggestopedia and the spectacular rituals that embody it will be demonstrated through music and quick-moving games that just flow out of each other; these will later be analysed in detail – and you will discover how the most effective elements in teaching are the invisible ones. Using an Elementary English Language text as a starting point, participants will see how many unforgettable activities it is possible to invent once pedagogical objectives are clear. In Suggestopedia, the aim is to get learners to surprise themselves by learning faster than they ever thought it was possible. So, come and discover a revolutionary form of classroom management! And begin to help people really learn how to learn!
The Insides and Outsides of Games
Games help children understand the world around them, by reducing life to its most basic components. Games let language teachers make grammar unforgettable by simplifying it and giving it emotional meaning. In this workshop - for both revolutionaries and "evolutionaries" - I will demonstrate a large number of teaching games - all of which can be put into practice next Monday morning. Learning will become entertaining and dynamic, and a different classroom atmosphere will make for a different teacher-pupil relationship. For teachers interested in new teaching approaches that ensure exceptional results, this workshopwill look at the behind the scenes management of these games, as well as a specific vision and attitude on the part of the teacher. After each activity, we shall examine the invisible components that “made the difference”.

Nos gustaría además, tomando el reto que nos lanzó en las últimas jornadas en la EOI de Santa Cruz de Tenerife el Sr. Director General D. José Moya Otero, realizar una reflexión sobre nuestras enseñanzas y analizar entre todos el futuro de las mismas en nuestra comunidad. Para ello, proponemos un serio y reflexivo debate sobre los cambios que acontecerán con la LOMCE y el futuro que queremos para nuestras enseñanzas en nuestra comunidad-
